I've been a bad, bad boy. I've been careless with a delicate blog. (Thank you, Fiona Apple, wherever you are!) I have completely neglected my little corner of the Internet. I've recently discovered that a few people have actually read the things that I've written here. More surprisingly, they seemed to like it! So, I have taken it upon myself to rev this baby back up. Oh, I'm not going to come charging out of the gate and post every day. I have to start slow. I don't want to sprain anything! My new New Year's resolution is to post at least one new entry on here a month. And, yes, this one counts for January. I'm not saying that I won't post more frequently than that, but that is the absolute minimum acceptable. So, I'm sorry, dear blog, if I haven't given you the attention that you deserve. I promise to be more attentive in the future. Please forgive me.
Now, there is a reason that I haven't been writing so much on here. I have started writing a novel. Yes, I am finally writing the novel that I have dreamed of writing all of my life. I also post here and there on Internet forums. So, I have other writing outlets, and that was the original purpose for this blog. However, I've decided to change that purpose and make this blog an escape instead of an outlet. I'll use it to escape my outlets, since those outlets have begun to consume me somewhat. Well, I will not be consumed! I have to show that novel who's boss! (Hopefully, it's me.)
And so, I now move in a brave new direction of insignificant observations on often insignificant topics on a somewhat regular basis! Now there's a slogan! And, no, Fox News, you can't use it.
